Welcome

First off "Welcome" to whom ever may have stumbled across this blog. I am a current Senior at Appalachian State University preparing to graduate in May.  What are my plans after college?  Well my initial idea was to get a full time "big kid" job as I like to call it, some may also call it "professional" but it's understood none the less.  May is quickly approaching so about a month ago I started using my "snow days" as job hunting days.  I figured I'd get a head start.... yet I am without any leads.  Well that's not entirely true, I have received contact from a few companies.  To only quickly discover they are scams.  Now luckily I haven't gotten caught up and was able to cut ties without any losses.  Yet I continue to run across such companies.  I feel as though 9 out of 10 positions I run across are scams.

So I am starting this blog not to complain about my job hunt nor to evangelize for a job.  But to communicate with the rest of the jobless Americans or possibly even the recent graduates looking for jobs.  I want to inform people of some of the scam companies I have run across to save others time and excitement over a "job" which is not worth your time of day.  I would love to hear from others who maybe experiencing some of these same troubles.  So join me we uncover the phonies and hunt our way to an honorable career path.
